This is a picture of one of our chicks about a month ago. I don't think he was being picked on. The entire flock was born and raised together. I never saw pecking going on at the time this happened. This cleared up and he is fine now. Now my flock is about 9 weeks old. I noticed yesterday that this same chick has a lump in the same spot. I could take a picture of it, but it is not noticeable with his feathers, only when you touch it. He is the same chick that doesn't seem to have feathers on his bottom. I posted a picture here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/674843/hairless-bottom#post_9114295 I occasionally see the boys establishing their pecking order - stare downs and chest knocking, but nothing extreme and it only lasts about a minute. I don't see any groups ganging up on any particular chick either. Not sure what I should do with him. He seems healthy otherwise. Advice or suggestions?

You're looking at his crop, where the food goes when swallowed, before it travels on to the stomach. It just looks weird because there are no feathers on it. You'll find it on every single chick after a day of eating. I don't necessarly think it's an issue, unless something became infected under the skin there.

If it's raw, it's because someone is plucking his feathers out and making it irritated and he's probably scratching it.
