Lump under beak and between waddles-how do I help her?

Since the lump could be anything from cancer, abscess, or a cyst, if she survives, you could try to see if there is any solid pus in there. The Sulmet may help if it is coryza, but the respiratory thing could be bronchitis, mycoplasma (CRD), or coryza. Tylan wouldn't help infectious bronchitis, but would help CRD. The lump on the wattles really threw me--it is between the wattles, not part of them. I hope you will keep posting about her to let us know how she is doing. Perhaps another person who has seen the same thing will offer some advice.
 
So today she's just standing there with her head hanging.....won't really eat or drink. I feel like there is something else I should/could do for her, but I don't know what. I offered her water earlier, and she took a few drinks, but that's about it. She does perk up when I call her name, but other than that...she's just standing there...eyes closed. I hate to see her like this.....is there anything I can do to help her?? Please?
 
So my hen is still hanging on. We have been giving her duramyacin 2x a day. She has been eating and drinking, we've been giving her applesauce, oatmeal and some scratch. This morning however, she has more pus coming out of her eye than the previous days. I'm wondering should we switch antibiotics? We've been on this one for two days now.

Also, she's become thinner with all of this, is there something else I could feed her to help out with this?

Sorry that she seems to be failing fast. Duramycin is on the weak end of the antibiotics. Many vets still recommend it, but it is given all day long in the water usually. Are you using the maximum mixture on the label--the 800mg dosage? If you can get Tylan50 at your feed store you could try that. It is normally given as a shot in the breast--1/2 ml for bantam and 1 ml for normal size hens. I and others have given it orally, when there was no muscle to inject into. I would probably double the dose orally, and give it daily for 7 days. If she has coryza, the Tylan can work, but sulfa drugs such as Di-Methox or Sulmet may work better.
 
The 800mg dose for Duramycin is normally 1 tablespoonful, but some vets will prescribe 5 teaspoonsful per gallon. Apparently some bacteria have developed a resistance to tetracycline.
 
My husband did all the math to give her the meds via a syringe. He's been doing that 2x a day. I'm just a bit distressed by the fact that this morning she seems to be worse. She was so peppy last night...eating and drinking. She doesn't open her eyes right now and this morning they are all swollen and full. I was reading previous posts about giving the injections, but she's a small frizzle, so there isn't much to work with there, and right now, I can totally feel her breast bone, so that wouldn't be a good site I don't think. I have read where some chickens died after too much of the Tylan....that worries me, but I feel like if we don't try something stronger, then we're going to lose her anyway. I do have some Sulmet here. Is Tylan better for this than that? I read the description of the coryza, and seems like that might be what we've got here?

Also, if we switch meds, can we just do a different one? I worry about too much meds going in her....but like I said...seems like there isn't much to lose. I want to save her so badly.
