Lump under beak

Help! I just discovered this lump on one of my hens. She isn’t really eating and her comb is really pale. Thanks in advance for any thoughts and/or suggestions. I added a couple pictures. Hope they can be viewed.

Can you see what is under the feathers? Is it her skin, or an abscess?
How old is she and is she drinking/defecating? Does she seem lethargic? How long have you noticed it there, and has she been acting "off" for a while?

How old is she: she is 3-1/2
is she drinking/defecating? Yes but not pecking around
Does she seem lethargic? A little
How long have you noticed it there, and has she been acting "off" for a while? Just noticed it tonight. Hasn’t been acting off at all until tonight. She has lost a few feathers but I thought it was due to the heat.
