You know, the eclipse came in kind of streaky / murky.
As it the shadow leaves, it's a clear line.
It was funny, when it was 'all dark', Flash, the wild pup, came out from his deadfall bed and fussed at the darkness (as if, who turned out the lights?)
Almost half gone now and a glow to the other half.
Wooden pony..those are beautiful pictures! We have been watching it all evening up here in Manitoba! It is so clear outside and the sky is full of stars! I can still the top 1/4 or so is still darkened!

Thank you!
I would have more but the clouds are coming back in from the storms we are having.
That was great! The kids where frozen by the time they gave up and came in. LOL We told the kids that in the Dark Ages they thought that eclipse where a sign that the worl was ending. The seven year started running around yelling the sky was falling until her brother beaned her in the head with a acorn and told her. "Settle down chicken little of you willl sleep with the chicken tonight." At that she turned to me and asked if she could.

Typical kid!
I watched it start to turn back, and then I went to take a shower. I came back to see and my mom had the house locked all up! I didnt want to deal with opening the back door so I let it be. I saw it happen, I didnt need to see it un-happen,lol.

Yeeeeeeeep, Looks like a giant tossed a big dirt clod up in the sky and it got stuck, lol.
Yep I agree, did look kind of like dirt clod up there. I stood outside and talked on phone and watched it with my sister in Martinez. She basically saw what I saw but less fog/clouds for her. The I watched it unclipse, and guess what, the clouds left too and it was a beautifly starry night with an almost full moon. But it was still all great and wonderful to be sharing with everyone here and see the pictures too!! Thanks
