Ive lurked and read on this site for months so decided to join and jump in finally!
Got my first 3 chickens in march 2017. 3 RIR. Within a week I had 7 more. Started with a small movable tractor that my husband built and before I knew it, I had a full fledged coop and am now up to 64 chickens!
Thanks to BYC I successfully did my first incubator hatch and hatched 3 chicks, and currently have 11 eggs under 2 broody hens and 71 more in the bator.
A new second coop is in the works and a new run, to establish a new colony with the younger chicks I have now.
I just adore my chickens so much and needed a place to share with others who get it. I think most of my friends and family are sick of hearing about the latest and greatest with my gang!
