Hi Betsie from Eastern Mass! I’m Devorah from Western Mass. So glad to meet you here, too. Looks like we’re in the the same boat. I, too, will be embarking on the chick journey in April. Something or someone must be whispering in my ear at night to get me to become a mama of 12! Ha! Would love to hear how it goes for you out there. Are you near Boston?

Hello, Devorah! I am quite near Boston, just south of the city, so fairly dense suburbs here. Our bylaws allow 6 chickens (and no roosters). I am waiting with a combination of excitement and "Oh My GOSH, what have a started now??!!"

I would be glad to be new chicken twinsies or whatever we should call ourselves. There is a small number of active members in Massachusetts right now, and I have several neighbors who have or have had chickens. But it's so nice to have this community to "hold my hand" when I panic. I have Followed you.
