I used to work for one of the large insurance companies. Though her insurance company might try to deny the claim, call your insurance company and get them to deal with it - that's their JOB and your insurance rates won't go up because of it; trust me, I know

OH MAN!!! I hate ins. companies like that! An act of god my butt! It sounds like the woman simply shouldn't be driving anymore if she totaled another car when she hit yours! It scares me when my hubby's grandfather drives... He's 89 and has mild alzheimers (sp ?)... He drives SOOOO SLOOOOWWWW! if he doesn't hit someone, it's only a matter of time before somebody hits him because they didn't realize how slow he was actually going! I was in town the other day, and an old lady was driving up the street on MY SIDE! Thank god she swerved at the last minute... I have NO clue what she was thinking/doing - she was looking right at me the whole time, and I have an F350, so it's not like she couldn't see me (or maybe it was!)
