This was in June, just getting around to posting it now.
My Dorking mama, with her Dorking cross babies, was mad at whoever was giving her the stink eye on the other side of the fence

I have three (yes, thats right THREE) broody silkies right now! When they come off the nest to eat, all my other birds run to their "safety bush".

Broodies are so inspiring! My Broody Dutch hens take mothering to the extreme mothering till the chicks are as big as them!
