We've never seen him, but have heard him twice. One time he was mad and doing that paw slap they do...were fairly certain he's a blac bear because of where we live. We're just really hoping 'he's' not accrually a 'she' and has Cubs! I double secured all the coops, and am really hoping he doesn't get any ideas

and another thing,do YALL mind if I ask where you're from? Black bears gives me an idea. Theyre usually harmless. Unless like you stated its a sow with Cubs. So then...I didn't get anything this am but that's hunting. Might go back this eve.
