made a drastic change.. could use a bit of encouragment

Good for you! You look wonderful! I love the funky glasses, too! I wear makeup when I go in town or to work. I wear foundation (I have Lupus and the rash is ugly to me) some powder, light blush, eyeshadow on my lids and use it for eyeliner under my eyes, too. I also wear mascara and a light lip gloss. I apply it lightly so it looks natural.
Are your eyes blue? They're beautiful! I would use natural, neutral colors of eye shadow for you, maybe this: http://www.eyeslipsface.com/elf/eyes/eyeshadow/brightening_eye_color in the "Ethereal" color collection and a brown mascara. An eyelash curler is my favorite makeup tool. If you're looking to experiment without spending a ton of money, check out wwweyeslipsface.com They have some great products for very, very reasonable prices. I do not like their foundation or concealers, though, they are too heavy to me. Try Cover Girl Fresh Look for starters, it has Noxema in it and makes your skin feel nice. I use MAC foundation. Moisturizer is your best friend, get a nice, light moisturizer to use before foundation so it looks more natural. Also, kind of weird, I know, but this: is the BEST product on the market to use before your foundation. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1JE5ZXA8HVTKXJE3GA8Q It is the very same formulation as this: http://www.smashbox.com/PHOTO-FINISH-FOUNDATION-PRIMER for a fraction of the cost. All of us makeup geeks use the Monistat.

I could go on for days, I love makeup, choosing colors to suit people, etc. I think I missed my calling!

aww! you all made me tear up! i only wish one of you lived here, so you can help me... i have NO idea how to pick out make up. im hoping my hubby likes the new look, i sent him a pic from my phone, but it was blurry. hubby drives long haul truck, so when he gets home i hope to wow him! our relationship has been a bit strained as of late.

fyi, lol the first pic was edited , my sis edited out my bad acne..
i love my glasses, especially with my new look!

now to loose some weight!!

im pretty heavy set, but i havent gained or lost since my youngest daughter(5years old) was born. im not lazy, i feed 20 mini horses 2x a day along with graining them SO we are going to add walking the perimeter of our property (25 acres) 2 times a day and go up from there. i eat pretty well too, i usually have a bagel with creme cheese on it for breakfast along with black coffee.. lunch is usally a hit and miss, but i dont eat huge portions, dinner always consists of a meat, veggie and a glass of water. i drink almost 2 galons of water, but i also drink a lot of soda, so the soda is going to get cut out rather fast! lol

You're adorable! Glad you had the guts to try something new.

If you can splurge a bit on the makeup, department store makeup counters will help you figure out what looks good on you. I've done it a whopping three times in my life, but it is such a help!

You look really nice.

Hooray! Great cut. Loosing weight is always in my plans. I think I was actually able to wear full makeup for two weeks last fall. I usually only put on waterproof mascara. The rest of the year I sweat buckets.

I think you look great n both pictures. I love the new cut. But I too am simple when it comes to hair. So I see nothing wrong with a pony tail!

i bought 50$ worth of make up the other day.. gosh i felt like a dork... 28 and had never bought make up! lucky me, i had my roomie with me to help me pick it out...

i cant help but think that i could have bought at least 20 chicks from one of my friends with that money.. lol
