Made in America?

There was an article on yahoo this morning about things made in America, it may still be findable.

Guess where most of the worlds supply of chopsticks come from.


Americus, Georgia. That made me smile.

EDIT: I'm sorry for posting incorrect information, misread the article. Seems the factory in Americus produces just a fraction of the amount made in China.

On the flip side of the coin: I always look at the stainless steel dinner ware when we eat out to see where it was made. I have not seen "USA" on a piece since the 1950's.

It all seems to be made in China, Taiwan, Korea or Indonesia. And those folks don't even use it. They use chop sticks.
