Maggots in hen poop!!!

Maggots in my chickens poop so when my hens sleep they sleep on the sides of the nesting they are two of them who sleep there. This is what I saw. Also checked their butts in the big one has some bubbles. They all act the same first time I have seen that in my hens poop.

We do got poultry spray and poultry dust in case that would do anything

They got nothing on their belly normal bald belly no inflammation looks like it used to they are taking a dirt bath right now

That looks like a totally normal vent.

What are the conditions of the coop? A large pile of poop in hot, humid weather is definitely an open invite for maggots. This is the time of year for flystrike. Flystrike often occurs when there is a buildup of poop around the vent area, and flies lay their eggs in the poop which can eat through the chicken's skin. It can be deadly. However, I do not see an evidence of this occurring on your girl. I would suggest cleaning up the poop in the coop though if there is so much that maggots are present.

Neither poultry dust, DE, or deworming is what is needed to be rid of maggots. Just cleaning the coop.

Just cleaned it and dusted their coop took all the poop off from their floor now less way less flies. Their vents are all good, so is their belly and checked all their body and it’s good

Their house is good gots a fan for the time of day where the temp is at it’s peak they got vitamins and electrolytes as well. Mostly when roosting the hens drop their poop and it accumulates. In one area I’ll be sure to clean it their floor daily. Yes it’s humid and hot.
