I actually now think they need a bestie of the same breed. I think my bantam cochin is lonely and angry for that reason. I will be getting her a cochin buddy within the next few months (maybe a day old i can slip to her when she is broody).

I've thought of this too. I just don't where I can get another one anytime soon. I'm hoping to hatch some chicks from my flock next year, so there's a slight possibility she'll get a decendent. But it might not look like her at all, and that's still a long ways away.

Sorry if I'm not supposed to post this, but I have one GLW. Her name is Kayin (pronounced ky-ann) She is SOOO pretty, but I think she was molting or something recently. I would love to have some SLWs though. I can't decide if SLWs are prettier, or if GLWs are.

Golden Laced are welcome too! They're stunning too! I own 2 Columbians and they're beautiful! But in my opinion- Silvers are the best!
