A story from Darwin - has anyone else had troubles with a magpie goose in the hen house? We lost 7 chickens yesterday - 6 were already dead and the 7th died overnight from shock. Only one looked injured, others had lost feathers. In their midst was a magpie goose, already dead. Magpie geese are everywhere in Darwin at the moment, and they have visited the coop before without trouble.
Is the dead goose a mass murderer? Did he get his come-uppance?
