I had a Post It on the computer screen during the New Year's Hatch that I wrote the last post # on whenever I left the thread (even when I stayed with in the site on another forum) to keep track of where I was because the thread moved so fast.
My DH one evening said, What's with the Post It with all the numbers?
Me: It's for keeping up with the New Year's Hatch thread
DH: But the number has increased by 100+ just since this morning!
Me: WE LOVE OUR CHICKENS!
DH:

Only other chicken lovers get it!!

I have this thread saved to my Favorites; when I'm caught up, I delete the old url, then save the one where I'm at. My computer will return to that page and post the next time I click on that Favorite.

Yep, that's what I do. I just save to favorites when I leave and it will write over the old url.

Had not tried the favorites trick yet the only problem is I'm not always on the same computer. Sometimes I go into work early and get on BYC before work ( 4 computers there) and also get on BYC at home at night and also on the weekends (2 computers there).

I know you can post to mark your spot but sometimes you only get a chance to read 4 or five pages and you have not been in a few days and all of a sudden you are 10, 15, or 20 pages behind, so when you post it goes at the end not where you have read to.

I kinda like to read ALL that everyone has to say (sometimes its the only way to keep up with what is going on).

I don't mean it's a problem just that it would be nice if a bookmark or locator could be attached to our accounts. Was just a suggestion. No big deal.

Happy hatching to everyone.

OMG - you go away to do some chores, and when you get back there are a gazillion new posts! Well, maybe it was a few days.

Had to get some new roosts made, bought a couple of new birds; a beautiful young male and female gold laced Wyandotte. Trying to get the tractor ready for the 13 "babies" going into the main yard, but we've had so much rain here in western WA I'm thinking an ARK might be more useful. Bunnies kindling. . .

So, it looks like Ameraucanas for the Easter hatch. Got 130 eggs or so in right now, including duck and geese. But, they'll be done by the time to start the new ones

I love hatching, BUT, what do you do with them all?

What do "you all" do with yours?
