Prices $594 with digital thermostat & hydrometer

You can get 3 tray with hatching tray or 2x2 ( included). each tray hold 96 eggs.

google dickeys incubators...there are pics & prices.

The only thing I ordered extra were the plastic egg positioners @$5.50 each

You call there and speck to Mr. Dickey himself, he was so nice and patient with my questions. And said I can call anytime up until 10pm with questions etc. even Sundays. Plus he said he would try to get it out today, if not Mon. I am already bidding on the auctions to test it out.

I was going to buy another Brinsea. I have the eco 20 (I love it) and I also have 2 homemades ( some good ,some bad hatches with them). Always reserved for my own eggs. My home office is getting very crowded. I weighed out the pro & cons and decided to treat myself. The only real complaint I have with the Brinsea is the hatching room. I just hatched out 25 LF yesterday. I HAD to open the bator every few hours to pull chicks. They were walking on top of eggs trying to hatch it was wild in there. Thankfully that Brinsea holds temps & humidy...I had 100% hatch.

I had the same conversation with myself for the last 3 days. Called today and ordered a Dickey!

I am already running 3 incubators and have eggs sitting here with nowhere to go. Convinced !

I just bought the Brinsea, now I'm going to bid on some hatching eggs. Like I don't have enough of my own already.

I was thinking of going with a Dickey's incubator as well. I have heard the cutomer service is fantastic.

My three little ducks are all thriving and doing well.

Dad got a good check up at the doctor today. The doctor says he is very healthy all thing considered and should be fine until they schedule the surgery. So good news there.

On the down side........ The transmission went out on my mini van SO I spent the entire day at the dealer ship with that and on his last day home DS was running around in his Dads car picking the kids up from school and driving back and forth (45 miles) from town to get me. Not the best day, but hopefully the extened powertrain warranty we bought will cover everything. If not, we are down to one car.

NoseyChickens: That sounds like great news about your dad all things considering. Sorry about your transmission mess.

Wow that should of said "all things considered". Ok I feel better now that I corrected my self.

I have some B/B/S AMs due tomorrow along with a couple of Cubalayas that started, but looked iffy at lockdown. Had the same problem last hatch, but those made it. I think I also have Wellies or FBCMs in there. I need to find all my order info. Plus a couple of EEs and Game x Marans from my birds. I've hatched some of those out to try and get good layers with a brown egg and broodie. I've been getting black with feathered legs and Wheaton with clean. So far it looks like all pullets. Actually wanted some roo so I can learn to process. They should make good meat birds.

I just sent some eggs to another BYCer yesterday and she sent me some of the best apricot preserves and some fantastic pickled asparagas! I have been craving both for months and her husband just showed up with them for me. What a great trade. I can't wait for her to hatch these out. She'll be processing the Game X's so I want to see how they turn out. She also has a pink egg from one of my EEs and I'm hoping my blue AM is in there somewhere. My green egg layer (such a pretty green) hasn't given me an egg in two weeks. She laid 3 and I stuck them in the bator, but nothing since unless someone is eating them. One is developing, but the other two were duds. I did find yolk all over a dog crate on the porch and I'm thinking she lays in weird places now and they break.

I got a great surprise yesterday. I have one of my bantam Wellies in with El Guapo, my Pene roo. I want to see if I can get the bantam eggs darker and then breed back to a Wellie roo. I've had them together since they were chicks. Just didn't expect eggs so soon and found 2 in the pen yesterday. So exiting. Do bantams lay earlier? I seem to remember they do, but not sure.

Went to the feed store today and for the first time they actually had silkie hens. Some of the chicks from their eggs were in the brooder. Didn't have much money, but I bought one. I was down to one hen and she was the first one to start off laying this season and has only laid one. I don't get it. Anyway I have not too bad of Silkies, but nothing like the breeders on here have. I need broodies!

My Davis girls are getting pretty old, so eggs are few. I have a few in the bator, gave a couple to the other BYCer and I've had one in the nest box for about an hour. One other laid earlier. I usually only get a couple a week. I need to figure out whos laying, because those birds are so huge I can't afford to feed the freeloaders.

I'll probably set what I got yesterday evening and today, this evening. I got lots of Game x eggs, so meat and eggs some day! I hope they fill out quick enough so it's worth it. If not I'll try something else. Ok anyone else???? hmmm seems like I forgot someone.

I have 3 more hatches coming up before Easter. I ordered more Davis FBCMs and I hope I get some to hatch and also have more from my birds and 13 quail. Think I'll be good if I get enough of my FBCMs hatched so I can have some to pick through for breeding. So far I've only gotten 3 LF Wellies to hatch and lost one. bummer! I've been trying to get them for a long time. Before I had to give up my last flock they were some of our favorites. Oh I also got 2 Barnies and thought there was something wrong with a blue Marans, but it's a splash! The Mottled Java is really growing out there too. Still need to place a few Cuckoo Marans. I got a lot of those hatched out. And out of the 4 FBCMs from Jean lines I think I have all roos. Figures. LOL

I've actually had some great hatches lately, so Easter hatch is getting me really excited.

Just wanted to put up the video I made of my emu having a temper tantrum yesterday. The emu and the baby goats met for the first time and ran and played on the deck. When the emu got put back in the cage in the house, a full on one hour toddler tantrum ensued, complete with kicking and screaming, well whistling. I only videotaped the first few seconds of the tantrum, not the whole hour!
