Well my eggs are hatching. I have 2 Ameraucanas out and at least four more pipped. Just in time for me to leave for Oregon in the morning for my Dad's memorial service. So DH is in control of all the animals while I'm gone. There are notes taped EVERYWHERE to remind him what to do. No, I am not an over bearing crazy person. He was raised by a mother that left sticky notes all over the place to remind her boys what needed to be done while she worked 2 and 3 jobs to raise them. So he asked for the notes. I just hope he does not open the bator to "help" the eggs along like he so impatiently begs me to every time we hatch.
We got the mini van back today, completely covered by the warranty and a new 3 yr 100,000 mile warranty to boot. Which the customer service rep that had been helping me assured me I would need as her transmission has gone out 3 times so far! Note to self- Dont buy another Dodge!
Today was the first day I have not cried at the drop of a hat at every little thing. Yesterday I cried in the feed store. I fell like a crazy person. But what can I say, my Dad was the most amazing man, and there will be an emptiness without him.
