G'morning fellow hatching friends, IT'S FRIDAY! One week and a day until we set!

Have you all noticed the bidding frenzy going on in the hatching eggs section????

Looks like we'll keep the USPS busy this week with "Live Embryos"!!!

When I sent eggs to Phage the guy at the counter just had to ask me what the species was,

I wish I'd have had a technical term for chickens ready for him.... he smiled.

Final tally on my Crystal Creek Lav/splits Hatching Eggs:

8 Lavenders
4 Blacks (split lavs)
2 Lavenders didn't make it (1 cull, 1 died after pipping)
6 eggs haven't pipped

1 early quitter
2 blood rings
2 clears

Not bad at ALL for shipped eggs and a having a day 18 106 temp spike, I'd say.

VERY happy with the hatch, thank you!

My Appleyard duck eggs came! Thanks, Yotetrapper!

All are in perfect shape and waiting for tomorrow to be set!

What time should I put them in?
My bator will soon be full! I have 13 Silkie and 5 Orpington eggs that are a week into incubating, 7 duck and 5 RP turkey eggs that were set Monday, and more RP eggs coming next week. I am also saving all my Orp eggs until next Saturday to go in then.

Bring on the madness!
