Hope everyone is doing OK! Almost time for you all to set eggs!

I have waited as long as I possibly can wait - and it does not look like I will be joining this hatch.

I have no broody silkies, no issues I can find, but none have started back laying yet either!

Matter of fact, only thing laying here at the house are two girls (JG & SLW) that are part of my laying flock & have no roo!

I have gotten 6 couturnix eggs, though!

I have eggs on the way next week that I have ordered, so depending on when & how those arrive - there is a chance I may get to join at the last minute.

The turkey eggs still look like eggs

Steve, I think that lavender mottled would look pretty! I hope in your reasearch you find that you either want to keep them or find someone who does want them.
Not much going on here this morning. DH is swearing up and down that all six of the turkey eggs are going to hatch since I am hoping to get two (Thanksgiving and Christmas don't you know

) I am going to have to start planning on what to do with all these birds!

ETA - Don't worry CC there will be plenty of room for what hatches out of your eggs! I don't care if I have to build another coop, those lovelies stay!

Ok so I set 5 Pekin Duck eggs and one Dewlap African goose egg last night so today is day one. They are due right before Easter lol
Had a temp spike last night but I hope the eggs didn't take in that much heat. Hoping they were still coming up to temp. Stupid bator giving me problems now but didn't on the last hatch. Go figure. Still going to be adding in eggs from a friend who wants chicks next week so they all hatch around the same time.

Anyone else having problems with the map?

I've been outside stalking nest boxes again... had to come in to get some heat... it's only 24 out there.
