well i had to loan my incubator to my girls school because the one they were suppose to get someone else decided to get it before my daughters class so they did not have one to use so i gave them mine to use but today my husband said that when he went outside to check on the chickens and fill up there water and food i had a chicken sitting on eggs growling and had her wings spread out over them so i went and looked and checked on her and sure enough once you walked into the coop she would start to growl so i had my husband lightly pick her up and easily to see how many eggs she has and she has 13 eggs she was growling and squaking and acted like she was crying because she was picked up when he put her down she gave him a go to hell look and looked at her eggs and settled back down. it sound like she wants to hatch eggs but i am not sure does it sound like it i was upset that i might not get to hatch because i loaned my kids school my incubator but if she is broody i might have a chance. also my cooop is full and i have no more room for anymore chicks untill i build another coop i have a 8 by 10 coop how many will that hold they have free range in our yard everyday which is sitting on 4 acres will the coop hold the chicks when they are older or do i need to move them to the new coop when they are bigger after they are born sorry i ask to many questions or talk to much i have never had a broody hen before
Mahonri: I bow to you and your stacking skills in the hovabator! I haven't had any practice with one of those. You may be the tetris master of Hovabator kingdom.

For days 1-8 before first candle, I always move the top eggs from side to side three times a day... and then add warm water through that blue tube.
I keep my humidity at 35% for the first 18 days
And try to keep it at 63-65% for "confinement" (lockdown)
