Hey! If my d'Uccle eggs hatch in 20 days, do I fail the contest if I set them tomorrow?

That would help since I have about 8 babes drying in the Brinsea at the moment, and the Brower is being an epic fail as a hatcher....

Thanks, that's good to know. I have literally typed in bids and then deleted them before sending... Restraint is difficult!

I wish I had time to run the contest but, I am so covered up right now that I am afraid I would miss some and would make some people mad at me. Maybe next time I will be able.

Also got to thinking about it. Would be real easy to run 2 similar contest.

Contest 1: Total number of eggs SET. Guesses would have to be in by wednesday at high noon, after all button quails don't set till Thursday. This contest could be a week 1.

Contest 2: Total number of eggs HATCHED. The guesses would have to be in by next Saturday at high noon. This could be a final contest.

I would give a dozen of my Cuckoo Marans eggs including shipping, as a prize for one of the contest.

If you can find someone to run one or both contest. Everyone could participate because all it takes is a WIILLLDDDD guess for both.

The eggs I will be setting today should be good, but I bought them before I did research and realized that the farm was much bigger than I thought, so the quality may not be what I had hoped for. Still, they will be good eggs to begin with, and I can most likely give away or sell extras.

I'm going to set a whole bunch of buy-it-now auctions and then set my eggs up to go out to RevolutionMama's house...I'm having hubby set what's here, and I'm setting Jenn's and mine in her Sportsman because she is heading out to meet Kathyinmo for a trade. Thanks GOD for BYCers....I'd be totally bereft of space if not for this place!

Kathy, is there anything you want from me before she leaves? Some Isabel eggs? I'd love a couple of surprise eggs for my hatch. I'll send some with her for you for fun!
