So, while there will not be a prize for stacking, the eggs will hopefully have more room and I can hopefully use the styro bator as a hatcher. Pics to be posted this afternoon!

Only 2 hours here, and just one for you east coasters!!! I'm fixing to go and rearrange eggs, and figure out who is going where, and I will be back around noon with a total set number....

Thanks. I read that, but I also saw the '21 days for bantams and standard chickens'. My bantams run early, even with perfect temps.

I have 15 chicks that hatched in the past 24 hours.

So I will clean the Brinsea and rest at noon tomorrow....

I'm afraid I won't be able to do it.

The thermostat I ordered for my homemade bator 8 days ago still has not arrived and isn't getting here until Monday, now. It was supposed to arrive on the 30th.

And my LG is slam full. I couldn't turn down the Lavender Orps, Ameraucanas, and Salmon Faverolles I saw for sale two weeks ago. I've been saving my own eggs from a cross I really like to set for this hatch, and now I'm going to have to sort through them to pick out the older ones.

Got eggs collected this AM... everything labeled and put in the trays. Set at 12:00 on the nose!!!

15 Bantam Barnevelder or Tater Tots (not 100% sure which)

11 Speckled Sussex (I hope fertility is good!!!

Oh man! Either I took enough cough syrup to stop coughing, or I finally got tired enough to sleep through these coughing fits. I nearly slept through and forgot about needing to set eggs in a few minutes.
