I turned on the Hovabator, I know it will take about 3.5 hours to get up to temp.

I'll turn on the Brinsea at about 11:15 as it will take 45 mins to get up to temp.

Lots of folks still need to go to Laree's spreadsheet and check in with how many eggs they've set...

Some have given us #s they've set but haven't chosen to enter the other contest ???

LOL. I'm ready and waiting. I thought I had a broody to set under today but she decided not. Everything is in trays, and I am ready now to go get a final count....

Steve, no no it wasn't that I thought you mislead me, I mean who the heck wouldn't want a little lavender orpington chick?? I have lav orps too so it's all good. I just meant I was curious as to what made you think that particular chick was mottled, but now I see you just thought it might be carrying a mo gene. I get ya.

There are 20 White Silkie/ Showgirl eggs (maybe a stray Partridge egg or two in the mix)

In a few hours once everyone has set I'll post another reminder about the contests... I'm scheming up another one right now but unfortunately chores call... shoveling the chicken run got me a bit behind today...
