all eggs in Yay got 2 doz went under broody 36 to gqf and the 36 ducks set last saturday so 96 for this hatch

Marked all Mahroni hatch with blue mark so all will know thats who hatched.

Wow.... Gone a day (not even a whole day) and I'm about 30 pages behind.

It'll probably take me an entire day to catch up since the faster I try to read the more posts being added on.

I might as well update first, then catch up on posts. First of all I have a question.... Is this only for bators or do broodies count? I have a broody hen who is sitting on about 14 eggs. She will not let us check to give an exact count. My son thinks he might have counted 14, but my husband is sure there is way more.

And here's what I put in my bators today at noon:

I have two bators and a total of 57 eggs.

In my Brinsea Octagon 20 Eco -
15 BBS Am
5 FBCMs
Total of 20 in Brinsea

In my Genesis HB 1588 -
12 Leghorns
14 BO
11 EE
Total of 37 in Genesis

I know, really sad compared to some of you, but I'm still not that good at stacking eggs.

so as long as she gets off once in a while to eat and drink she will be fine she is sitting there not moving or making a sound unless another chicken comes close to her. i will not take a picture of her for a few days so that the flash will not scare her off i made that mistake with the las hen i thought was going broody. hopefully by easter i will have 22 new babies. when she was off the nest she was all fluffed up like a butterball and growling. It is so funny she chased the rooster away and he is twice her size he never went back in the coop today so far. i have water and food in the coop with her and also outside with the others so that they do not bother her. tonight will be her second night on the nest after tonight i can rest a little knowing that if she stayed for two days that she want leave her eggs. i am just nervouse about having a broody since i have never had one or been around one. thank you for all the advice i will keep everyone updated to let you know how she is doing.
