And I suppose I will be candling tonight. Now I'm way to curious!

Just put 23 eggs in LOCKDOWN! I have been busy. Didn't get to candling them until day 18. Removed one clear and my Brinsea is more packed than its ever been. Should have some babies in a few days. I usually get my first hatcher on day 20, occasionally day 19 so we shall see! When candling, some of them looked like they were pretty ready to come on out!

Girlie, you gotta start using punctuation! It's killing the editor in me!

I would be confident about putting 25 bantams in an 8' x10', so long as you use poop boards and have lots of roost space. I'm not sure about your weather, but here, I also have to provide covered run space or larger coops because of deep snow.

hi i am so sorry. i have rir, br, ee, sex links, and silver spangled hamburgs in the coop we have now. i would like to try to add 6 to the coop. there are already 17 in there but the rooster is fixing to leave. they have access to 4 acres of land. and i have over 45 feet of roosts that are up off the ground and the feed and nest boxes are off the ground. can i easily fit 6 more in the coop so that way the new coop will consist of mainly bantams with the exception of 6 due to i have 12 LF bitties. they have freedom to go in and out during the day and night. the run is a 16 by 16 for them to use at night. but during the day they have the 4 acres of land thats not including my moms 4 acres next to me that she said can roam around on if they want to during the day now that they know exactly where they are suppose to roost at night.

I need to know-How do you "accidentally" win an auction? I'll have to try that! "Honey, I've got 2 dozen Silkie eggs coming from CJ that I accidentally won!"

Do you think that will work?

This happens to me all the time.

And since I accidentally entered a contract, I am honor-bound to follow through.

It's rough.

I have candled all of my eggs and of the 41 duck eggs, 7 were clear and 34 looked good. Of the 6 chicken eggs that I was unsure of, they all look clear but I will give them a few more days. Hopefully at least 24 ducks will hatch because I have a guy that wants to buy them. I had to make sure I had a home for them before I put them in the bator, lol.

Lunch is over...

... back to work....

Took me 30 minutes to try and catch up with you folksk.

Can't wait to candle the other half on Tuesday when they'll be a full 10 days.
