AND an update on my broody. She is still sitting but one egg has been destroyed. She probably thought it stunk or something so I am down 1.

AND, as a reminder, if you are going to enter the broody hatch contest, you must hatch at least one chick under a broody, THEN take a pic of the baby and mama and post here THEN PM me with the post number that your picture is in so I can look at all the fuzz and cuteness and enter your name into my magical hat from which (hopefully) your name is drawn to win some free SOAP!
 
Can I enter this in the funniest picture contest? I didn't know if it would qualify.

Well, I have turkey eggs coming tomorrow so I had to candle to try and find some room.... Fortunately or unfortunately, I have 20 definite no starters that were pulled tonight.. There are also about 30 that I am afraid are blood rings/early quitters but didn't pull any of them yet.. So many of these brown and green eggs are hard to see detail in... All of my white eggs though have bouncing little eyeballs with perfect little spiderwebs surrounding them.. The kids think it is cool to see it move inside the shell.. truth be told, so do I!

Hope everyone is enjoying this hatch as much as I am.. I haven't laughed so hard in weeks... That chicken nipple picture should definitely win a prize and not just a booby prize but a really great one..
