I just can't believe how hot it is here and how cold it is there! I'm pretty sure it hit 90 before the clouds started rolling in, and high humidity made it worse. There's a nice breeze and that helps; but the room my bators is in was 89 when I got home. I will not be surprized if we get some severe storms tonight following this freakishly high temperature. I think I remember seeing warnings issued; and a prediction for tomorrow that means the furnace will be running instead of the airconditioner.
I put the airconditioner in the window and readjusted the wafers on the bators; they were only running about a half degree too high, so my guesstimate at where to set them before leaving was not too bad. I hate to whine, but man, the area below my ribs hurts so bad from the coughing that I could barly stand to drive, let alone carry the dog food and lift that airconditioning unit! I've been through three rounds of antibiotics and one of antivirals; and still coughing up more crap than seems possible for my body to even produce. [At least I'm not passing out anymore.] I had to buy some groceries and people were staring at me because I was wearing that breathing mask; but then quit staring and switched lanes when I had a coughing fit in the checkout, right after explaining I was wearing it because I had the flu.
