In true Mahonri spirit when I was first thinking of a license plate for my actual car I was going to get "LUV CHIX" ... but I soon realized that I might be getting the wrong type of attention.

Instead I chose this:

I just finished candling my eggs and I'm down to 37.

I moved one turkey egg and one of my ee eggs to the hatcher for lockdown (staggered hatch).

My schedule varies, so mine crow as soon as they hear any movement in the morning, which means when I let the dogs out at 4 AM and if I get to sleep in and the sun comes up before the food comes out, get the earplugs. Thank goodness my neighbors are not at all close.
