My hubby was nice enough to get neutered. He felt like 2 6-month bed-rests in 26 months and 14 combined months of vomiting constantly was plenty of discomfort for me. He figured a quarter-inch incision and a few days on the couch was fair.

Wow.... I was gonna say lucky you, but then it dawned on me what you went through to get him to do it...and well forget that!

I have a friend that got neutered after he and his DW's 3rd baby. Of course, he had to have it done again after their 4th. I made sure to be prompt, courteous and on time to all of my follow-up appointments.

The three chicks I pulled from the bator:

I think the one with the crusty wing will be henceforth known as "Crustache".

Total babies hatched so far: 6 of Mahonri's, 4 of mine. They are in the brooder with last week's Duckle hatch.

And the silkie/showgirl/turken/random hatch from the week before that:

I have chicks coming out my ears.

Mahonri- I dont know if you can tell, but of your 6 chicks, 2 are white with little black spots on them, 2 are white-white, and 2 are beigey-white.

This thread is going so fast now I can't hardly keep up!
The pip in one of the duck eggs is still the only thing going on.... and it's still just a pip just a little larger now. Oh man I swear hatching duck and turkey eggs is going to drive me crazy.

Haha! My hubby made it to all of his, too- even though they snipped, tied, clamped and cauterized, his doc says the human male body is a propagation machine designed not to be thwarted by modern medicine...2 out of every thousand men STILL heal back!!

I may be a lousy pregger lady, but I deliver like a champ, in seconds flat: "CATCH!!"

2 hours each.
