Well my little duckling has a turkey friend now. It zipped the whol way then failed to pop the shell off. I had to help it out, he got glued to the (which was a first for me). So I'm trying to figure out what happened there. For no uped the humidity so there hopefully won't be anymore dry-outs.

Congratulations Winners! I am a winner too! My New Hampshire starting zipping at 9:22 and was out at 9:31! It is so pretty, even wet! Thanks Kathy!

p.s. Did you also forget to mention that your BR chicks are so big they can't stand up in a Brinsea? ECO, not the Advance with the humidity sponge sticking down. Michael said, "He doesn't look that big." So I put him next to the leghorns. "Wow, he is big!"

So I'm thinking my hatch is complete. I've had no new activity for almost 24 hours. None of my Ameraucana eggs pipped at all though. How much longer should I give them?

This was my first time to incubate shipped eggs. I originally set 15 Giant Cochin eggs; 7 made it to lockdown, 6 were infertile (confirmed), 3 were quitters, and 1 pipped through a large vein. I now have 5 adorable chicks My kids think that they look like little Ewoks running around inside the incubator!

Congrats to all the successful hatches and good hatching vibes next time if things haven't gone smoothly.

While I'm waiting for the last chick to find its feet so he can hold his own [

] he's being protected from the mob and I'm posting a pic of him and some others before releasing him and getting some much needed sleep.

He was too big for his shell and shrink wrapped also.

Angela, your White Ams can be even darker than the one, or also be like the other, and stll feather pure white.
