Mahonri's 2nd Annual BYC EASTER HATCH. Post pics of your chicks!

Here's one of my Josies on a hot day last week, complaining to me about it.

Along with other breeds, I have three Josies (identical pullets) and one TJ (rooster) from that hatch. Oh, wait! They are from the New Year's Day Hatch! Ooops. Anyway, these are from the Trader Joe eggs. (The girl in the background is NOT one of the White Leghorns, obviously.)

My Easter Chicks are now beginning to lay eggs! By the time that the NYD hatch starts, I'll have had them all separated by type and color, and I'll be ready to put their eggs in the 'bator. My problem is going to be clearing enough 'bator room for all that I want to set!

Mahonri I will try to get you a pic - especially of my wheaten ameracauna pair. I have seen pics of them before but in person they are just breathtaking. That little roo is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!!!

They are lovely in the extreme...my camera just doesn't seem to be able to fully capture it.

Rathbone, your little roo there looks like mine when he was that age. Mine is a maran/ameracauna.
