I'm still hatching out like crazy over here, just waiting for April 2.. lol... I have 11 going into lockdown tomorrow and then another 50 something going into lockdown in a week! I have to sell enough chicks between now and the end of March to get the eggs I want and more $$ by April 15th to get the chicks I want!! For the easter hatch, I will ONLY be doing my own EE's and I will be buying Lav Orp eggs!! WOO HOO!! Then as those are hatching out, I will be contacting another breeder to get day old lav orps shipped to me!! I want to make sure I have different blood lines!!! I am so EGGcited!! My husband thinks i am absolutely off my rocker.. he says, "They're just birds!".. But, THEY ARE GORGEOUS!!!! I'm in the process now of finding people that have fencing or wood for free so i can redo my coop and run... I will be splitting it so that i will have three different sections... Possibly 4... Oh Lord! I've got a lot of work to do!! LOL

I PM'd Mahroni yesterday. I'm in. Never hatched before. New Little Giant incubator. Gonna do a trial run first. Setting eggs this Saturday. Silkie roo over EE's, RIR's and SLW. Thanks for the pictures on another thread showing fertility in eggs.

You should know better than to lift the "lid" off the bator during lockdown.
