Setting my Brahma eggs today! So excited and I am hoping that I get more than six chicks this time. Do you think I will?

BTW I did have to rearrange after the pic was taken so the bator cover would go on. The eggs with wax paper aren't wrapped any more. I just used some wax paper between some of the bottom eggs to keep the ones on top from rolling when I get the turner going.

Yup I managed to get 30 eggs in there!

DH kept saying, you know that is only supposed to hold 24. I told him I can get creative!

I even snuck one of my girl's eggs in there! I have been dying to see what the BWA crossed with my Wyandottes looks like. I am hoping that since Mr. Cogburn has started crowing on a regular basis like he was before that it indicates his fertility is up.
ETA - I want to thank all of my BYC friends for showing me how to get 30 in an incubator that only holds 24

I managed to get 34 eggs in my Brinsea my last hatch. I had enough skinny pullet eggs that I could get 7 across the rows and then stacked 6 using the wax paper to keep them from rolling. It was a great accomplishment.

Way to go daisychick! Since most of the eggs I had were good sized, there was no way I could have gotten another one in. I would have tried more but I had to get "very" creative just to get the cover on with the 30 I had.

Where's the heating element? At the top???? I don't have one of those so I don't know. Seems like any stacked would be a degree or two hotter. I tried stacking in my Genesis, everything stacked didn't grow. I don't think the turner worked properly for those top eggs or something.
Or maybe I cooked them putting them so close to the element
