I'm soooo excited. After weeks and weeks of a horrible production crisis and a stalking Bobcat, I finally have a live trap scheduled to be set tomorrow, so bu-bye Bobcat, and today I got to see my FIRST blue egg in over 2 months!!!

I hope that cat gets caught soon, and my production gets back on track just as soon or sooner!!

Am I the only person that does not like the Brinsea Eco 20 ? I bought two of them, and one is still in the box. I can not keep the humidity up in that thing, and I hate opening it. I can not get a good grip on the dumb thing when I do open it. I really do not care for it at all. I am sure that a humidity pump would make life easier, but I did not want the added expense.

I love the HovaBator Genesis. I have no problems with it at all.

I've set a bator full for the last run before the "big event!" ; 6 shipped, 36 homegrown. I'd like to vent a little about the experience of getting the shipped eggs...................................... but I promised to move on and leave it. Hopefully I have two dozen coming for Mahonri's Easter hatch; and also hopefully that experience will be better.

At least this time they arrived in great shape.

Plus, the local USPS worker was very helpful, even staying past her closing time, to help me figure out where they were addressed to. I made it to that one before their closing, and the eggs were there.
