ok... I had to blur out my son's face but here is my entry for the Funniest Picture Contest....

Well I set 6 Barred Rocks, 6 New Hampshires, and 2 Icelandic pullet eggs. Still didn't get my olive eggers and I am ticked off about it! If I ever get them I will set six of those, if they aren't too old, for a total of 20. Right now I am officially in at 14 eggs. An hour and 15 minutes wasted waiting for the mailman to not bring me eggs.

I have 33 eggs set with quite a mixture thanks to the generosity of FrenchToast & her Easter Hatch Along auction!

1-white silkie
3- partridge silkie
1-splash silkie
1-non bearded silkie
18-white showgirls
2-partridge showgirls & last but not least
6-bantam turkens (naked neck)

I have a BCM in the nest box now. I took 2 eggs from my Marans X Game from the fridge to make my 20. LOL Only had 2 in there and once I found the egg from my OE I was up to 20.

My two oldest grand daughters have Prom tonight. My husband and I were always the ones to go to my Daughter's and set up for pics of all the kids. He house is always the meetup point like mine always was. So leaving later to see if I can do this on my own. Wish I could find our cameras, but I'll just have to have my daughter make me copies.

Whatever gets laid today except the auction eggs, I'll add to the bator befoe I leave.

I think the OE egg was yesterday's so I may get another one of those two. hmmmmmmmmm I think I only set one EE...Wonder where her eggs are?

Well geeze I was all sorts of impressed with my whopping 36 eggs I had to set. Now I feel like an underachiever.

So here is what I have so far. All from my own breeding pens

8 White Ameraucanas
8 WC Black/Cuckoo Bantam Polish
6 Bantam Buff Laced Polish
14 Black Bantam Cochin

I have a giant cochin that looks like she's gone broody. I'll give her a few days and then stick some duck eggs under here. My call ducks look to be making a new nest full of straw and 2 eggs so far. So it looks like spring has sprung

I'm crazy, but I'm not at the top.

One thing I'm certain of: you are more than welcome to join us in killing time until the kids hatch! As far as the hatching contests go...

and umm, I have the incubator on, with some eggs in, but since the hens are still singing, I'll keep adding! Once they are done, I'll do the spreadsheet thingy.
