Is that a modified bee box?

Nope It is Montgomery Ward, red wood, manufacted by Leahy, single tray. Holds about 60 in the tray if you manual turn them. I added 4 inches (the newer redwood). It was 50 watts orginaly with a wafer. heaters were shot, I messed around with bunch of stuff, finally added 2 light bulbs raised it 4 inches to fit turned and puter fan. added the e stat, use the wafer for back up,. It is one of those 15 dollar china ebay ones, works great. heat on 15 seconds, off 45, just like my sprtsman hather. I have couple of clay saucers under my turner for water, keep them full, holds 35 to 39 humidity. Fill them every 4 days. I have never seen another one like this.

you will probably win!

And then there are those who guessed I'd hatch more than I put in...

I was wondering if they were counting the 8 under the broody outside that started a week early... I'm not counting those.

Thanks to kathyinmo for alphabetizing participants in Post #1.

I may stay sane now.

Oh and SCG... I only added one on Saturday because The Warden says you shouldn't set an odd number of eggs....

Look what showed up in our backyard yesterday...

Eye candy for a little while. He comes from the neighborhood to the south where I took SCG on a tour of the "Phoenix Chicken Neighborhood"

Hi, all! I am sorry to have abandoned you for the day, but it was hot and sunny out and I had work to do!

How about we make the Flapper Contest go the whole time, enter at will. It's hard to get those shots. I'll post the poll at lockdown and it can be our 'Confinement Distraction' to keep us from getting our faces glued to the windows of our incubators...as if!!

We'll tally the votes on Easter!

Does that work for everyone?

I'll put it all on a page tomorrow. I'm going to pass out soon. Wind and sun burned, worn out, and feeling old...

Finally did the form thingy majigy. Good thing I waited cuz I added the two eggs I found today (really?? only 2? where are those girls hiding them??) then my son decided to make cookies, so I had to take one egg out. My husband then wanted to make scones, so I pulled another egg out, but when dh realized the kitchen was getting messy really quick, he decided making scones tomorrow with a fresher egg would be best, so the second egg was placed back in the bator, and if it hatches I'll have to name it scone.
