Ok I opened it, and the shell came off really easy, but it is still pretty stiff with dried stuff.

I am thankful Eggbert is up and around. That yolk sac this morning was the biggest I have EVER seen. Fully absorbed now. Poor thing is still sporting some dried sticky feathers.
