You have me totally confused at this point

I set 78...lockdown 63....hatched 49.. ?????? Any math geniuses want to tell me my percentages !

Well. . . . I'm expecting this thread will contain photos of the Easter chicks' progress in growth as the days go, yes?



Anyway, this big foam rack full of eggs is going in the bator.

Marans, Easter Eggers, Ameraucanas, Araucanas, Polish, a couple possible Olive Eggers, and two meat project eggs.

GreenGoddess they can get worse. I had one in my first hatch that looked normal when it hatched and then over a span of three weeks it got progressively worse to the point where I just had to cull. It was much worse than your chick. In doing research on cross beak I came across an ointment that may help. It is called Penetran. Google it and see if anyone in your area carries it. I tried it on my chick but I think it was too late to do any good. You could try it, it won't hurt the chick and it is not terribly expensive.

Well my hatch is over of 26 eggs set I have 3 babies (1 d'uccle and 2 silkies) and one silkie may be in trouble. Most were infertile or non-developing and the other were quitters

I set 20 and had 12 hatch. It was an okay batch.
