I also woke up to snow this morning. . second morning in a row that we've had snow. At least it melts by lunch. But I'm sooooo glad that I'm waiting to move my ladies. I plan to put them in our greenhouse to hatch their own eggs, but it's not well insulated and has not power for me to put a lamp or heat in. So that is why, when I found this thread, that I decided to wait to let them sit. Although one of my buff's is getting quite testy every morning when I go to get the eggs. Hopefully she'll continue to be as good a sitter in a few weeks!!

Best nights sleep I've had in eons!

Tooth will be fixed today. (I guess you all know my brother is also a dentist and works in the same office as myself)

... and in other news, this evening my son and I (the one who just got home from Hungary) will be at a debate watching session in Mesa and then with others we will be spending some time with Mitt Romney after the debate. I pray he does well.
(If you want to know anything about him, I've spent some time with him.... AND he truly is as conservative as they get!)

KathyinMO!!! Where are you getting ALL the fabulous birds? First Fluffies now the choc orps!? I LOVEEEE them

Do you sell eggs?? There are few breeds I really love (all of them) Am's...so consequently EE's too....and ORPS love them, have a delightful Bantam Bo that is broody right now. Got a few more Bo eggs here and there...but love this chocolate color...do you sell eggs? I dont have any LF orps no yes I do there is a chick or 2 in the brooder...and I thought I had a LO hatch out of this last batch but it has very feathered legs so the color is lav...but no O for me I think...I so love the chocolate...

No eggs yet. She has not started laying. Today I am going to trim fluff on my large imported Orps, so I can get some fertile eggs. I think I will attempt AI from the bantam chocolate orp to my big black import girls.

I took a couple pictures of some 5 month old Chocolate I have out in my yard......

Wow! I didn't know they come in chocolatef. Very pretty.
