Mahonri's 3rd Annual, BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

Just think how fast that would be if you were a Platinum. You could set your page to 100 posts per page, and whip right through them!

Sigh.....yes.

I am perhaps the youngest member on BYC. So no, no it will not. Hmph!

Gussie, I just had to tell you I love the names of your chickens! Cool!

Thanks for sharing that, I so need to make one.
Well,,,,If you insist....

Made from all recycled materials (except for the pipe clamps, mine were too small). DH put ithe deer feeder on the scrap pile because the motor burned out, the pipe was laying around and the feeder and 's' hook were on a shelf in the feed room. It will hold up to 200 lbs of feed! I keep it under a shed were the tractor is parked so the rain will not wet the food.

So, here I am, at home, whining and complaining, with prescriptions for Prednisone, an antibiotic, and an inhaler.... AND NO COUGH SYRUP!
Kathy add some peppermint tea with honey. Honey is a natural antibiotic and peppermint is great for your respiratory system. Raw honey is best.

It was my pleasure! You could probably find a hunting club for a source of feeders with broken motors, or ask on CL. I just lucked into this one. The best part is it holds at least 4 fifty pound bags of feed (although it is still in the testing stages, so I only put in one at a time for the moment.)

I just want to take a moment to thank all of you for joining this Easter Hatch-a-long. There truly is A LOT of behind the scenes work that has gone into this thread.I would especially like to thank superchemicalgirl, kathyinmo, Laree, NotAFarm and The Sheriff for all of the hard work that they have put into the hatch thus far... and many thanks also to Nifty for providing many of the prizes that will be given out during and after the hatch.
You are all a ton of fun and it's going to be awesome seeing how many eggs get set and how many of those eggs end up as baby chicks.
Looks like we are almost 2 weeks from set! Get your eggs lined up now if you haven't already!!!
Muy Buenas noches amigos!
