Thanks for the correct pronunciation , now I know what to yell when I raise my fist to the heavens,as my incubator becomes full,and I consider buying a Brinsea incubator.
Unrelated, I went to the dentist for a routine cleaning/checkup this week. When the Dentist asked me how I was,I said good,how are you, are you getting enough sleep? I wonder where that came from? Has anyone seen the movie Courageous? Great movie... there is a spot where one of the main characters who is a sheriff's deputy is talking to the sheriff on the phone and says love you as he hangs up.. LOL

There's a very valid reason for that!! Vanilla makes flies and mosquitos vamoose. It is better if you use real vanilla, but even air fresheners work really well...Here, read this

Seriously?!?!?! And to think all these years I've been bathing in Bug Dope (aka Deep Woods Off or the like). Is there no end to the things I can learn on BYC?

I buy Skin-So-Soft by the gallons. We've always used it camping or just going outside. I put it on cotton balls and tuck them in corners of the tents to keep those blood suckers away. My dogs have always been rinsed with it too, so no fleas and shinny coats and skin. I even made candles with it and they work great inside or out.

Vanilla I use for flies.

How ya feelin? Getting any rest? II ow about the skin so soft, and it works good, but I had no idea about the vanilla. That one just surprised me. We don't have fleas in AK, but in Washington I used 20 mule team borax, the laundry additive, according to my vet it is the same active ingredient the commercial sprayers use. Kills fleas and their eggs and without all the other junk mixed with it it's safe even for babies to crawl on. I sprinkled it on the furniture, carpets and dog beds, let it sit while I scrubbed bathroom and did all the rest of the cleaning (about an hour) then I vacuum last thing, never had a flea in my house. And my dogs and cats had the residual gas on their coats so when they went outside, the fleas didn't even jump on them. A box treated my 2400 sq ft house for a month or more, $3.27 a month and no harmful drugs. SCORE!!!

Is it too late to say "I'm in!" now? Cause I jut today got my homemade incubator up & running

, and I have plenty of time to fine-tune it before set date

(which I programmed in to my phone already!).
