Mahonri's 3rd Annual, BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

Good morning hatchers.

Overnight we had a dancing buff chicken, sometimes dancing in midair, a turkey brooding chicks, a (surprise!) insomniac hatch host, and a up-to-something Alaskan. I think that's all.

It's currently 3 degrees out, kinda wish I had put on something over my PJs when I went out to do the ducks and chickens.

Good morning, SCG.
If you are up and around, then it'll soon be time for me to go home.
It's been a busy busy night at work here tonight.
Hope you have a great day there!

Nature called.

Sun is still not up in the desert southwest and it's 50.5 degrees in my backyard right now.

No rain in sight. And we need it badly.
DW is going on a field trip with DS#6 to Tucson today so we will miss her answering the phones at work. Receptionist still has not given birth yet and hasn't been to work since last Wed.

Good morning hatching world...

Buckabucka, yes it was me with the honking Brahma. I wouldn't have worried about it except she is almost a year old and has never done this before. Yesterday she wasn't honking so I will just chalk it up to her wanting to be special that day

Java girl I have two questions for you. 1 - What happened to FIVE? 2 - What kind of turkey is brooding those chicks? She is pretty

Well another busy day today. DH is down in Yuma for a month so I have all the chores. This week I am working on a project at work so that is super busy, get home, take care of the animals, eat dinner, clean up, do homework and off to bed. If it stays this busy, the month will fly by

Why don't you have Laree come answer the phones for ya?

It's actually more than just answering phones. DW has been training for over 2 months. She knows the software, the jargon/lingo, knows how to put in insurance info, etc, etc...

I imagine Laree could probably learn it quickly, but it would probably end up being more work for both my chairside and myself in the long run today. I'm certain she could do the financial part of it all without skipping a beat.... (taking payments etc...) But I just remembered that my brothers receptionist will work for us in the morning because DB has a bank meeting so that will help... she'll confirm appointments for Thurs., pull charts and take x-rays when my chairside get's overwhelmed.... and then I'll do that this afternoon. I hope my receptionist keeps her promise and is back at work April 16th!
