Good to know sewing in the elastic will work! I wasn't sure so I didn't try. Just slips over the wing feathers ok??

Nice idea on the elastic ! LOL I don't throw underwear elastic away either, only I usually use to repair buckles on horse blankets.

This must be a wealthy group of people, I've never heard of throwing underwear away while the elastic still works.
