Mahonri's 3rd Annual, BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

So I ordered some hatching eggs and miraculously they are going to all show up on Thursday. I wasn't really expecting them until Friday (the shipping estimate given) and had planned on starting them on the 17th (Saturday) for the hatch along. Can I swing the extra day of waiting or should I just get them started.
If you guys give the green light to wait, what do I do with them to keep them safe and hatch-able?

Since you will want to let them sit for 24 hours before setting them, you really won't have to wait much. You could set them Friday night and it wouldn't be a problem. There isn't anyone that will come to your house and confiscate your eggs or anything! There isn't a contest for a chick hatched at exactly noon on April 7th so the time of setting isn't something that anyone should fret over. The Easter Hatchalong is about having fun, sharing the experience of belonging to such a great group of hatchersand helping each other through, the sometimes stressful, hatching!!
I'm stoked about all the different kinds of eggs I will be setting for this Hatch!!

Just marking my spot

THe writing is STILL on my walls!

Have I mentioned that I did something really really crazy with my poor incubation history. I orded Icelandics! I blame all you enablers. I hadn't even heard of icelandics before this thread. So feel the pressure, I need to hatch this time!

Icelandics sound wonderful!! Pretty and hardy.

Store in a cool area about 45-50 degrees with 75% RH. I use my basement. THe refrig is often too cold. Try not to shock them with moving from warm to cold or cold to warm. Its a judgment call.

I blame the wonky

Oh my goodness I remember when my 1st learned how to write her name. I was so proud of her!!! Til I went to check on her (you know the too quiet moment when you just know something is up) and she had written it hundreds of times (OK maybe just 70 or so times) all over the walls of her room, her toys, her furniture... Hahaha, we laugh about it now that history is repeating itself.
