Cutting it a little close on that bator aren't you java girl? I think if Mahonri had cut it that close he would be having a heart attack

Last night I told DW I was having chest pains. She rolled her eyes and said, "It's just the hatch!"

Mahonri, so sorry to hear that the silvadene is not helping with the pain. It seemed to soothe mine when I used it but I didn't have burns in areas that would be covered by clothes and such.

Kathy if you were offering some of those gorgeous project bird eggs and you were closer I would be there in a heart beat. I had to "admit" to DH last night (did I mention he is out of town?

) that I got some Konza eggs from Renee. On the positive side, he likes the idea of roos that are ready for butchering in 14 to 16 weeks. Of course he doesn't know about the second bator yet.

Boo just checked the "tracking" on those eggs. They are still reporting that they are in KS. No updates since the 15th. Well they will either be here today or not.

I'm hatching eggs from birds that were imported two years ago. (Sulmtalers from Switzerland)

Since I can't have roos, I'll be keeping hens for the breeder as "a back up" in case something were to happen to her flock.
Greenfire is selling new chicks of this breed for $99 a chick!

Holy cow!! Do you sell most of your eggs? Or do your find clever ways to dress up one more egg dish for the day! An old dessert is a flan made of eggs. Easy.

wweellll............ the box was all ready made, it is a brooder box and all I had to do was put a Peace's of fome on the top. then I put 4 brooder lights, one in each corner and fan in the mittle of the box on the top. I had to wait till I had the 4th light to turn it on. the only thing I am doing now it cutting up egg cartons to turn the eggs with.

The F1 project pen is laying like crazy. Those F2s come in such a variety and they are all from great layers with great size. Nice dual purpose birds, for sure. When you decide you want some, let me know!

Finally caught up. 125 posts in 7 hours!! We will keep the top position for sure today!

Mahonri--silvadene is to help the burn heal, unfortunately not for the pain. Sorry. THis will help it heal faster, along with good foods like the green leafy and cut out sugar and refined flours. I wish a re-do was possible.
