That's awesome! We have an old hay ring out back, I have been trying to think of a way to use it for chickens, ducks or something.

My contest pic for the ingenius chicken invention/build:

This is my grow out pen. My DH DC and myself built this out of material we found laying around the farm and an old hay ring that we haven't used in years. It is all recycled stuff!! The fencing is all the way around and top and bottom of the hay ring and is orange plastic safety fencing.



The coop is 4ft x 4ft and the ring is about a 8 ft circle 4 ft tall.

I took a half day on Wednesday as a "mental health day" - it's going to be 77 and sunny... thinking about taking the whole day as a mental health day.

I'm taking today off sick/mental health cuz I just couldn't go in today...

Question. I posted my pic on my eggs being set. But how do I feel out for the best hatch contest. I'm not sure if I filled that out already or not lol I was going through all the forms when I first came across this thread.

Caught up. No snow today, just lots of ice. Made it to work on time!

Thats an awesome egg holder. I need to steal some from my son to do this when it's hatch time so they don't roll around like mad in the bator when the chicks start hatching.

My youngest made it for me... worked out way better than I had imagined!
