Mahonri's 3rd Annual, BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

Isn't it too cold to keep chickens in WY, ND and SD?

I think they keep chickens in Canada. Wouldn't that be even colder?

It is definately too hot to keep chickens in AZ. Today the DH and I were designing the wiring for a fan system we are putting in using a cast-off solar panel and a bunch of scrounged 12" server fans.

Laree's coop: Classy.

ETA: someone told me once they keep chickens in Iceland.

What else should we be doing today beside building more coops/runs lol...... DH pointed to a spot where we could put another run :) that will be for the roosters and the other meat chickens and maybe the turkey's. Yeah Good DH!!!

Ok you guys with the underwear comments have me absolutely cracking up!!!!!!!!!
My husbands like whats so funny? Then after I told him, he said, "Chicken saddles...no one can ride a chicken" and went back to reading his Kindle. Thats my cowboy for me. He wants a buffalo so he can train it to ride lol

I am with Mahonri. Unless we get hatchers to join from those states, I don't believe there are any chickens there.

Come on join the Easter Hatch! (or at least put your self on the map)
