WOW they are big!
Next we'll be Express mailing bread! I have to admit, baking bread is one of my favorite smells (way beats the chicken coop, even when freshly cleaned.Deb, Arielle, why don't you meet in the middle, I will loan you my oven.
Good job Kate, now if you could train her to wipe her feet!I have a goose egg! I have a goose egg!![]()
So . . . you got eight (8) instead of one (1) and that was your compromise???? This must be the new and improved chicken math! There must be something wrong with me. I went to the feed store and not only did they have chicks, they also had turkeys and ducklings, and I walked out without any. But, I don't know where I am going to put any chicks I hatch this time yet, I still have 10 on the back porch from the NYD hatch, I REALLY want to do the turkey hatch after this one (but I haven't committed yet), and would like to try to hatch ducks one of these days (just can't decide what kind). I keep hinting to DH about a turkey pen, and he says "Where are we going to put it?" We have almost 12 acres, I think he could find somewhere!
I suggested we turn his shop into a coop, but NOOOOOO, he won't do that! (But he went out an bought a refrigerator to make me a new incubator.
I just have to move slooooowwwwly.![]()

I like this one. It's funny. But as I looked at the photo again just now, I noticed that I can't see the top of the egg. Where'd it go?
