Lock down for me is at 8 pm... I want the little fuzzies to hurry up and arrive! So excited
Out of 14 eggs, I have 9, plus one I am thinking won't hatch, but I didn't have the heart to throw it out with the others. 9 out of 14 isn't so bad though I guess. So, can anyone tell me how to figure out my hatch rate? Last time I hatched, I went according to how many went into lock down versus how many hatched. Is that correct?
O.K so how many get better hatch rate setting them to hatch sitting up in egg cartons? I have never done this and still get a pretty good hatch rate! Just curious as to why it is done and will have to try it next hatch.
Eggs will be set for lockdown at noon, all of my EE eggs are so dark I cannot see inside them, but I have no stinkers so i am hoping they will hatch. Can't wait to see what they look like they will be the first from an EE Roo over 2 EE hens breeding. It's getting so exciting!
Just for fun. I have a yorkie, that loves to play with this BO! He will swipe past my other girls, but he always goes to find her, and they do this. Today I got the camera out, they did this for about 10 min. He thinks he's playing, I'm not too sure about her, but she doesn't try to get away from him, standing her ground? Maybe..
