Hi! I had a golden wyondette go broody and so I put 8 eggs under her on Dec. 10/11.

Let's pray for all of them to be viable and hatch on or around New years day.

I'm so eggcited cuz this is my first time trying this.

Mahonri, I am with you!!! I put mine in the bator 12 hours after I got them in the mail without looking to see when they would hatch. A day or so later I noticed that they will be New Years babies!!! I am hatching 12 Empordanesa. Good luck & happy hatching!

This is my 3rd hatch... I think the thing that makes it more exciting for me is that I've got a bunch of my own eggs in there. Past hatches have all been shipped eggs.

Mixed hatch this time.

I keep turning the heat up to keep the room temp above 68 and the family keeps turning it back down.

One thermometer says it's 100 in the hovabator, one says it's 99.2 and the other 98.9. They'll probably be late hatching in the hobabator.

The brinsea just stays right on 99.6 w/ 30% humidity. Love it.

Merry Christmas to everyone also. I candled again and it looks like I may only have 3 or 4 with movement. Even if I only get those 3 or 4 I will be happy since i wasn't sure any would make it anyway.
